About this role: Our Regional Manager is responsible for the overall day-to-day operations and performance of multiple clinic locations. The Regional Manager provides leadership within the assigned region while establishing and maintaining well-trained, stable, and successful clinic team members that are engaged and accountable for meeting and/or exceeding the non-clinical financial goals of the clinics.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide operational leadership for 7-10 dental offices Oversee clinic progress;
  • Analyze progress reports to assure clinics are doing effective recall;
  • Examine the effectiveness of financial advisement and consultation; Review targets and comparisons of previous years;
  • Provide training and oversight in underperforming areas
  • Ensure that clinic managers and coordinators are well-trained, and equipped to successfully build and lead their teams
  • Ensure dental office staff consistently follows operational procedures and all local, state, and federal guidelines
  • Manage direct reports to ensure that they are meeting performance expectations and create development action plans as needed
  • Ensure that patient care and satisfaction are a high priority.
  • Ensure that patient concerns are addressed appropriately and in a timely manner
  • Conduct clinic staff interviews and select high performing clinic managers and team members Provide hands-on training to clinic managers and ensure that managers and team members are held accountable for meeting goals
  • Build and maintain successful working relationships with doctors, clinic managers, and team members, as well as peers, Interact with the Operations Leadership Team to identify strategies for improving operational excellence
  • Ensure that clinics run smoothly by addressing issues in a timely manner: addressing concerns from the doctors as well as managers and clinic team members
  • Effectively monitor clinic flow: Observe timing within the clinic and patients’ waiting time.
  • Ensure the schedule is being done properly in order to avoid overbooking/overload
  • Ensure that the clinic leadership teams understand key metrics and their role in successfully meeting clinic goals Consistently recognize and reward team members for successes
  • Regularly visit each clinic in the region, ensuring a strong, effective relationship with clinic staff as well as doctors.
  • A consistent presence in the clinics is crucial to effectively managing the team. The Regional Management supports doctors concerns, ensuring that their concerns are brought to their clinical leadership as necessary.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3 years of multi-unit dental leadership experience
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to hire, train and retain great leaders
  • Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal) Solid time management and organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical skills, including reading, understanding, analyzing and interpreting financial data and operational metrics
  • Ability to create, implement and manage action plans that achieve individual and team goals
  • Must be able to work independently and make appropriate decisions in a timely manner
