We are seeking a compassionate, articulate, and detail-oriented Financial Advisor / Treatment Coordinator to join our pediatric dental team. This role is essential in supporting families as they navigate treatment planning and financial arrangements, ensuring every child has access to the care they need in a supportive, transparent environment.
As the primary point of contact for discussing treatment costs and insurance benefits, you will serve as both an advocate for patient care and a trusted resource for parents and guardians.
Key Responsibilities:
- Present treatment plans clearly and professionally to parents/guardians
- Explain insurance coverage, out-of-pocket costs, and available payment options
- Facilitate financial arrangements and collect co-pays, deposits, and balances
- Coordinate closely with clinical and administrative teams to support treatment acceptance
- Maintain accurate documentation in patient records and ensure financial discussions are well-communicated
- Build positive relationships with families while reinforcing the value of recommended care
Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of experience in a dental, medical, or healthcare financial coordination role preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain financial information in a supportive and approachable manner
- Knowledge of dental insurance, billing, and treatment planning (Open Dental experience is a plus)
- Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities
- A patient-centered mindset with a passion for helping families make informed decisions about their child’s care
