Job Title: Scheduling Coordinator
Reports To: Scheduling Manager, Scheduling Lead
Training: Paid training for 1-2 weeks
Bonuses: Based on performance
Status: (Full Time)

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Sitting 100%.
  • Moderate noise levels from surrounding team members
  • Business office setting
  • Constant patient and interoffice personnel interaction as this position is heavily dependent on excellent customer interaction.
  • Exceptional hand dexterity and typing skills to work with standard software programs provided.
  • Bilingual is preferred not requirement.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Excellent computer skills and ability to use practice software systems
  • Memorize and use scripts effectively over the phone.
  • Manage the schedule according to the appointment scheduling guidelines and ensure all hours are scheduled efficiently and to the production goal.
  • Schedule, change, and/or cancel appointments using the Open Dental Software
  • Obtain essential information for the appointment to include insurance information
  • Notate all calls in Open Dental Software appropriately
  • Leave messages and relay information to offices and other departments accordingly
  • Make confirmation calls and utilize Nexhealth as needed
  • Contact all missed appointments patients to reschedule
  • Generate scheduling lists to fill the schedule
  • Knowledge of Medicaid guidelines and ability to verify eligibility via web portals
  • Maintain regular attendance and adhere to assigned work schedule and office policies
  • Maintain communication with offices and other Patient Services departments i.e. chat, email, and phone.
  • Must be able to work both independently and cooperatively in team settings
  • Other duties and tasks, as assigned

Job Type: Full Time

Salary: $12.75-$14.50/hr
