Job type: Full-Time

Days required to work: Full time, Monday to Friday remotely and with ability to travel (sometimes the job will require you to travel during the weekends and stay in other cities as needed for training or assisting purposes).


Our company is a well established Dental corporation that focuses on the employees needs and making sure they have the opportunity to grow within the company. Community Dental Partners is looking for a professional, positive, fun and energetic individual to join our team.

We are currently looking for an experienced orthodontic assistant that would like to take the challenge as an ortho assistant trainer. Orthodontic assistant experience is a must (at least four years of experience, but if you do not have this type of experience but you are a fast learner we may consider your application).

Job responsibilities:

  • Have the ability to work with different orthodontists and open mind to new procedures and ideas
  • Knowledge on new and old technology ( take impressions, fit and impress, Invisalign impressions, scans, Dental Monitoring, etc.)
  • Greet patients and ensure their appointment is completed per the chart and doctor’s request
  • Communication skills to be able to communicate with the orthodontist and have the ability to explain or educate patients on their treatment
  • Assist doctor with patients and other requests/needs
  • Work with other assistants to ensure the schedule flows efficiently and an atmosphere of teamwork is maintained
  • Work with the team to maintain the office and sterile equipment and inventory
  • Preview the schedule and correct/edit/adjust as needed to ensure a good patient flow
  • Lead/participate in the morning huddles to discuss the schedule, patients and the overall day
  • Assist and direct the clinical team at the end of the working day to clean (and pack if needed) for the next day
  • Prepare as needed for the upcoming patient day
  • Complete all secondary duties on time (audit charts)
  • Direct the assistants to ensure the schedule is maintained and the patient flow is smooth
  • Train all assistants as needed to ensure quality care and treatment
  • Travel to any and all locations as needed for additional training of assistants
  • Manage multiple trainings
  • Review assistant performance and assist with additional training if necessary
  • Follow the company protocols and standards

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills. Demonstrates highest professional and ethical standards to gain and maintain credibility
  • Work with all directors, managers and team members to identify areas that need improvement
  • Ensure clear communication, compliance and understanding of projects and protocols
  • Ensure the doctor’s expectations and requests are met

  • Provide information and feedback regarding all aspects of the offices to the Ortho Manager, doctor, and Training Director
  • Strong knowledge of company policy, goals, and standards
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and agile environment
  • Update skills communicate with trainers, ortho managers, lead assistant
  • Establish and not exceed the budget established for traveling expenses

Minimum Requirements:

  • HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Register Dental Assistant (RDA), this is a plus Certified Orthodontic Assistant (COA)
  • Four (4) years orthodontic clinical work experience
  • Clinical experience with digital custom workflows used in orthodontics
